Planning a Retreat

I’m really excited for our upcoming Vale Worship Retreat. This is going to be a great opportunity to get our singers, musicians, actors and techs in the same place at the same time. One of the greatest struggles in a ministry this size is trying to keep the environment relational. This retreat is designed to help bridge that gap. The truth is, it doesn’t matter which part of the Creative Ministry you serve in, we’re all artists…and more importantly we’re all worshippers. We all have the same end goal of making God known.

Over our day and 1/2 together, we will worship, break into small groups, celebrate the past, cast vision for the future, share our hearts and truly get to know one another. As a leader, one of my greatest joys is to see our people work well together. This retreat will help us take that to the next level.

Ohhh and for fun…we’re having a midnight viewing of “The Princes Bride”…Oh yea!!!

  4. I’m curious about this – do you guys do small groups? is your worship team your small group? is this “required” for worship ministry involvement?
